ARIES (20th March - 19th April)
You start the season learning how to become more self-aware. This will benefit you in many ways and allow you to progress at work and will help shed some light on problems you've been having - quite possibly within a close relationship. If you're looking for more work (or more interesting work), you'll get it, but not without putting in a bit of effort, so smarten up your act and your wardrobe. All your ideas will be well received this winter, so get them off that desktop and out to the right people. Bothersome Saturn could interfere with your social life, but nothing a bit of self-reinvention - or a makeover at the least - won't sort out.

TAURUS (April 20th - May 20th)
Life's been hard, but as 2008 reaches an end, you're able to work out what you really want from life. It's important that you don't neglect yourself over the next few months: what better excuse to buy yourself a small treat every month? Jupiter's movements forecast the long-awaited blossoming of a potentially intimate relationship, so some new sexy lingerie is a must. December 10th is a key date for you: what happens on or shortly after then is sure to shape your future. Over the last 12 months, you've made some new friends, waved goodbye to old ones and you're on the verge of getting together with someone to do something quite fantastic. This could be romance or work-related - whichever, you're sure to make the right move.

GEMINI (May 21st - June 20th)
After a somewhat gruelling build-up to winter, you could well be at a make-or- break stage in various areas of your life. Your ruler Mercury helps you smooth over any relationship difficulties. You're at your most attractive between December 13th and January 3rd, so Christmas and New Year are set to be a real blast. After that, however, be prepared to spend more time at home in front of the TV. Uranus's movements indicate a sudden change at work, perhaps even a significant pay-rise. Try to be open-minded and flexible and before the winter's out, you will be in a much stronger position than you thought possible a few months ago.

Partying is well starred all winter long and you may fancy investing in a couple of new party outfits. Go easy on that credit card though: watchful Saturn's warning you to keep an eye on your spending, so don't be too extravagant. On the love front, passion planet Venus has you temporarily wondering what to do with all your newfound energy. Brighten up your bedroom with some exotic candles and romantic lighting and see if it spices up your love life.

LEO (July 22nd - August 22nd)
