The excuses are inane though.

When a man cheats, there is something fundamentally wrong with the relationship and it takes a lot of commitment to make things right. A large majority of woman, esp mid-aged, will NOT leave becos they do not want to be alone @ that point of life; or women with kids, becos they are thinking of their kids. Younger women with more prospects may leave, and I say if they can make it on their own, good for them, esp if the cheating lout didntmake any effort to keep it on the dl or does it 24/7.

My take? Cheating requires a great degree of detachment. Men cheat cos they can, cos its like shaving to them, cos women let them and just plain cos they are weak. It takes a strong man to be faithful.
